The inquest revealed the fact that the deceased had been ill for some time, an<l had given - up, all hope, of recovery. He loft a letter stating his intention to take his life. After hearing the evidence by a surgeon and countrymen of the deceased, tlfe coroner brought in a verdict that deceased took his life while mentally through ill-health.
