THE MOASCAR CUP.

FINAL GAME ON SATURDAY. CHALLENGERS FROM AUCKLAND. STRONG HIGH SCHOOL TEAM. The final Moascar Cup match of the season will be played at New Plymouth on Saturday, when Mount Albert (Auckland) Grammar School will meet the New Plymouth High School fifteenThe fourth grade final will be played as a curtain-raiser. For the convenience of country people th£ afternoon train has been delayed, and will not leave New Plymouth till five minutes past five, half an hour later than usual, giving ample time to view both matches, which will conclude shortly after 4 p.m. There have been some thrilling secondary school matches in N<w Plymouth this season, and 'Saturday’s match promises to eclipse them all. Mount Albert Grammar School, who arrive by the mail train this evening, play spectacular football, and have a very strong combination, having lowered the colours of the Auckland Grammar School on two occasions this season. They are confident of lifting the Moascar Cup, but will find that they have to fight all the way, as High School should be a much improved team as compared with their last appearance. They will have in the field the strongest combination that has represented the sehoo 1 this season, Alexander and Loveridge both being fit again.

Great interest also attaches io the curtain-raiser, which is the fourth grade final between Hawera Technical School and the New Plymouth High School. The Hawera boys are playing fine football, and had no difficulty in winning the fourth grade competition of South Taranaki, whilst in a sehoo 1 match they easily defeated Stratford Technical College, whose team plays in the Central third grade competition. Possessed of considerable speed and weight, with a good knowledge of the game, the Hawera boys have shown great improvement this season. The High School fourths play bright, open football, their backs being fast and combining well in attack, whilst their defence is very sound. The teams are: MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR SCHOOL. (Light Blue.)
