WAR IN MOROCCO.
HEAVY FIGHTING. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 21, 5.6 p.m. London, Sept. 20. The Barcelona correspondent of the Observer says nearly twenty thousand troops are engaged in the relief of the Gorgues post. There was heavy fighting and some strong positions were captured only at the point of the bayonet. An intense aeroplane bombardment was carried out by squadrons from the Tetuan, by Larache and Melilla. The Madrid correspondent of the Daily Express says five columns operating to relieve the GorgueS post lost heavily, the Riffs offering a fierce resistance. The fighting continues. Rafael Guerra, son of the ex-Premier, has been arrested.
A communique states that Spanish troops have occupied the Gorgues petition, thus safeguarding the surrounding posts dominating the height above Tetuan, which otherwise would be unsafe. C . ■ ...
