DISASTER IN MINE.
EIGHTY-ONE MEN TRAPPED. BURIED BY EXPLOSION. NO SURVIVORS LIKELY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 17, 8.10 p.m. New York, Sept. 16. Eighty-one men were entombed in a mine of the Kemmerer Coal Company by an explosion. It is announced by the company officials that the bodies of eight have been recovered, all burned beyond recognition. Rescue work is proceeding feverishly, but the company officials believe all the entombed men are dead.
