GLASGOW EVICTIONS.
AN AGREEMENT REACHED. By Tehfr*ph—Frss* As*n. —Copyright Received Sept. 16, 7.66 p.m. London, Sept. 15. A surprising eleventh hour trace was arranged on the eve of the evictkms on the Clydebank. A representative ing of factors, tenants and the town council was held at Glasgow during the afternoon, when it was agreed that all tenants who were able to do so be requested to pay rent or opproaeh the factors with a view to the settlement thereof, and all cases which cannot be Nettled he referred to a tribunal for decision. Meanwhile, evictions will be suspended for two week* to enable the tribunal to function.
