The strained relations between Hindu and Mohammedans are a serious menace to the present day peace of India. Within the past few weeks serious riots arising out of religious troubles have occurred in Delhi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Poona and Kohat. Lucknow is now in the danger gone following on a rumour that a Brahmin boy had been forcibly converted to Islam. Rioting occurred on Friday night and still continues. As in other places the troops 'have been called out. Already four have been killed and a number injured.
