PROTECTION OF TENANTS. (By Wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. “There is no provision in the Rent Restriction Act for taking cases where the rent is over £2 a week,” said the Minister for Labour in the House to-day. “If a person makes an agreement with his eyes open and then comes to the department to protect him the department will not interfere.”
