CHARGE OF CRUELTY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, July 1. Women chased the cowboys for autographs before the rodeo summons** were heard at the Hendon Police Court. Inspector Porter gave evidence that he saw a steer in the private contest dragged between five or six yards with its horns ploughing the ground. Th? cowboy Edkins three times roped and threw the steer/ after which the animal fell on its knees after the fourth throw and lay still. Later Porter sew the steer dead in the stadium with its neck broken. It had been shot and aleo had its throat cut. He saw another with a lo<we horn.
