UNEASINESS IN FRANCE. By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 22, 7.10 p.m. Paris, May 21. Uneasiness is felt in French financial circles because the measures adopted in March are powerless to prevent the fall of the franc. MM. Poincare, Herriot and Painleve conferred at the Elysee in order that the new Cabinet, which M. Hernot has undertaken to form, may be familiarised with the engagements made with British and American syndicates for the stabilisation of the franc.
