TRAM-CAR RUNAWAY.
TWO CARS CRASH. DRIVER STICKS TO HIS POST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 27. A tramcar got out of control descending the steep grade of Upper Queen Street and overtook another tramcar. Both cars were much damaged. The driver of the runaway, Walter King, stuck to his brakes and received severe abrasions to his face. Fortunately no one was killed.
