RECORDS' BROKEN AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Christchurch, East Night. Two telegraphic records were broken at Christchurch, the first being in the number of messages handled, and the second in the rapidity of despatch, thanks to the installation of two multiplex machines. The offices forwarded "471 messages, against 3770 last year: tney received 9330, against 5086. and transmitted 18.684, against 14,077. A record was also established in postal business. •
