Anderson, the Davis Cup captain, who recently announced that he did not intend again to play professional tennis, has now written to Brookes, suiting that owing to the recent heavy losses of the Victorian association through floods he feels it his duty to assist the association, and has therefore decided to participate hi the Australasian championships in January. He will partner Brookes in the doubles and also probably play In the singles.
