WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. (Special to News). Wanganui, Last Night. The Wanganui Association’s bowling tournament opened here to-day in beautiful weather. There is a large number of entries from the town and country clubs as well as from outside. Following are the results of the games played to-day in which New Plymouth players are concerned - Section C, round I.—Hill, Olliver, Sole, Beal (West End), a bye. Round 2. Beal 18 defeated Upton 15. Section D, round I.—Taylor, Hooker, Thomson, Smart (New Plymouth) 14; defeated O’Meara, Beswick, Atkinson, Foster (Wanganui) 12; Okey, Gillespie, Beadle, McNeill (Fitsroy) 15; defeated Harris, Bell, Bartlett, Bransgrove (St. John’s) 13. Round 2.—Moffatt 26 defeated McNeill 20; Smart 21 defeated March 16.
