FITZROY v. VOGELTOWN. Played at Fitzroy. this match was keenly contested, and demonstrated a marked improvement in the visitors' play, and although they were defeated by 43 points, the result does not fairly represent the merits of the opposing forces, Fitzroy having the advantage of being at home on their own green and being able to more accurately gauge tha effect of a rather tricky wind.
