REPARATION'S COMMISSION.
BRITISH REPRESENTATIVES. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Dec. 24, 12.30 a.m. London, Dec. 23. Sir Montagu Norman (Governor of the Bank of England), and Sir Josiah Stamp (Secretary of Nobel Industries) have been appointed as the British representatives on the Reparation committee to inquire into German finances. Mr. Reginald McKenna will serve on the committee to inquire into the question of German capital which has been transferred abroad. The Rome correspondent of the Observer says a great impression lias been created by the British nominations to the Reparations Committee of experts, who are described as “the three colostals in the financial world.” It is felt that England is in deadly earnest. SOME DECISIONS. Paris, Dec. 20. The Reparations Commission unani* mouly decided to refer Germany’s food credit request to the Governments for instructions and in the meantime to request guarantees. The committee will report early on the situation in Germany as regards cereals and grain. The commission decided to invite the .American expert, General Dawes, to accept the presidency of the Inquiry Committee in regard to the German Budget.
