WELLINGTON SENTENCES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. Dec. 22. Tn the Supreme Court Walter George Ingram, for indecent assault and carnal knowledge at Napier, was sentenced by the Chief Justice to four years’ hard labour. George James Beere, for breaking and entering at Napier, was sentenced to three years’ reformative detention. 'William' Richard Coughlan, for indecent assault at Hastings, was given 12 months’ imprisonment and declared a habitual criminal. He has two previous convictions for similar offences. Fred Walden, for indecent assault at Otaki, was sentenced to two years’ reformative detention. George Herbert Edwards, for breach of probationary license, was put on extended probation Horace Bishop, for breaking, entering, theft, forgery and uttering, was sentenced to two' years’ reformative detention.
