QUICKLY-BUILT CHURCH.

RAIN HAMPERS OPERATIONS. Hamilton, Sunday. Rainy weather interfered with the efforts made yesterday by members of the Methodist Church to build a Sunday school at Frankton in one day. Work was commenced at 4 a.m. Twenty volunteers sat down to breakfast at 7 a.m., 43 were present at dinner, and in the afternoon over 50 men were at wonk. When work was suspended at 7 p.m. the weather boards and roof were completed, and the. flooring was laid. The porch was not quite completed. Rain fell intermittently throughout the day, and the workmen received several wettings. A bevy of ladies provided meals and refreshments for the volunteer#.
