MORE CURES.

THE MISSION AT NELSON. SEVERAL STRIKING CASES. SIGHT AND HEARING RESTORED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Hickson healing mission opened to-day. From 8.30 this morning there was a procession of motor cars conveying sufferers to All Saint’s Church, where there was a very large attendance. Several patients have already received benefit. In one instance a young lady, who had had to wear glasses for 26 years, was able to discard them after the service and was able to read the closest print. In another case a young lady was stated to have been cured of deafness. In company with her mother she called on an officer of the church, who commenced to speak to her, when her mother interjected. “It is no use speaking to her, she can‘t hear.” “Yes I can mother,” exclaimed the daughter. ”1 can hear every word.” Thereafter she conversed without finding any difficulty in hearing. A case which lias come under our personal notice, says the Mail, is one where a resident who has suffered from a defect in one of his thighs for several years has received benefit. He stated he had been unable to lace up his boot for two years, but after attending the mission he was able to do so. He also stated and gave a demonstration that he could move hie limb with much greater freedom than heretofore.
