RESTRICTIONS TO BE REMOVED. (By Wire— Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The Immigration Restriction Amendment Bill was read a first time m the House to-day. One of the provisions is that British subjects by birth may enter New Zealand without taking the oath ot allegiance. A naturalised subject will still have to take the oath unless he is under the age of 15 years, or is a master Qf a vessel, or a member of the crew. From these seafaring people a declaration of nationality can be demanded on pain oi imprisonment or a fine.
