AN INCIDENT CLOSED. Christchurch, July 7. At a meeting of the council of the Swimming Association a letter was received from the Auckland Centre, forwarding copies of minutes as demanded by the council. After discussion. In which it was pointed out that the minutes had ordered that a letter be sent to the council, which it never received, it was decided that no further action be taken. A motion that two members be asked to withdraw statements made at the last meeting, criticising tl . Centre, was lost.
