1 HIGH WORDS IN MATCH. GAME ENDS IN FREE FIGHT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 9, 5.5 p.m. London, March 8. The Paris correspondent, of the Evening News states that a women’s football match between the Olympique and Femina clubs ended in a riot. Play was strenuous and was marked by high words, the referee being kept busy preventing fights. Femina scored a goal, to which the Olympique’s supporters objected. They invaded the field, and a free fight ensued among the players and the spectators. Two girl players were suspended for a year.
