Senator Dr. George Sigerson, who is 85, has resigned in of a rebel threat that his home would be burned if he continued to act as Senator. Dr. Sigerson says that while threats were confined to shooting he did not care, but now' they involve the destruction of his home he must consider his children’s, interests. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Association. WOMEN ARRESTED. Received Feb. 6, 7.20 p.m. London, Feb. 6. A Dublin message says three women in possession of arms and ammunition have been arrested. They will be courtjnartialled.
