The party claims refuge in the United States, but is held up for investigation. FRACAS IN A TRAMCAR. Received Feb. 4, 11.5 p.m. Brussels, Feb. 3. Two Belgian soldier* boarded a tramcar at Oberhaussen and refusal by the conductor to accept their passes led to an altercation, in which the passengers joined. They attempted to eject the soldiers, who used arms in self defence, killing the. conductor and wounding a passenger. FIGHTING IN MOROCCO. Received Feb. 4. 11.5 p.m. Rome, Feb. .3. Three Italian columns, which are operating against the Arabs in Tripoli, sharply engaged the enemy, who left 300 dead. The Italians lost 2 killed and 10 wounded.
