DRINKS FOR DIPLOMATS.
CONCESSION IN AMERICA. ILLEGAL USE ALLEGED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feh. 4, 11.5 p.m. Washington, Feb. 3. Representative Crampton has introduced . resolution asking Mr. C. E. Hughes (Secretary of State) and Mr. A. Mellon (Sectary of the Treasury) to infonm the House of the regulations under which foreign diplomats at Washington import liquor and the quantity of liquor imported since January, 1920. Mr. Crompton intends to start a movement to stop the use of Embassy liquors in illicit traffic. He said the problem of the enforcement of the eighteenth amendment at Washington was made acute by the illegitimate selling of these liquors.
