POLICY AGAIN ATTACKED.
TWO PARTIES OPPOSfeD.

There was another sharp skirmish in the Seriate to-day, when the American Foreign Relations Committee bad a heated discussion. Senator King said that if the United States had signed the Treaty of Versailles she would have been in a position to-day to help in the European crisis. Senator Borah took up the issue, declaring the League of Nations was helpless to interfere in the Ruhr situation. Senator Caraway attacked Senator Borah's stand. He praised England for ratifying the treaty, thus saving Europe from another war. The debate became general, Democrats favoring the Versailles Treaty and Republicans attacking it. Senator King ende I with a declaration that he intended to press his solution for further argument by the limitations conference
