SUCCESSFULLY ISOLATED. EXPERIMENTS IN ANTIDOTES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rceived Feb. 4, 5.5 p.m. New York, Feb. 3. The Rockefeller Institute has announced that two of its doctors, Frederick Oates and Peter Olitzky, have succeeded in isolating the influenza germ, and the experiments in antidotes and antitoxins are now progressing. The germ is called the “bacterium pneumonsintes,” because it weakens the lung tissue. It is so small. that it requires to be magnified a thousand times before it is visible.
