The Mexico City correspondent of the New York Times says fourteen men were killed and thirty wounded in a fight between tramcar strikers and soldiers guarding traincars under operation by strikers, who bad accepted n settlement, but which was not satisfactory to other members of their union * Street fighting ensued when strikers fired upon the soldiers, and a battle raged in the street for many hours. Business houses were shut for the day, and large contingent-; of troops were called out to guard the streets.
