Due here end of May. C. and D. liner, to load In London next May. TEKOA CLEARS PORT. The Tekoa’s loading operations were interrupted by the rain yesterday, but the vessel completed in time to sail at 6.15 p.m. for the Wanganui roadstead in continuance of Homeward loading. On leaving port the vessel was drawing 21ft. Tin. forward and 22ft. 31n. aft. PUKAKI WITH GUANO. A guano cargo from Walpole Island was brought to New Plymouth by tne I'ukuki, which arrived at 10 o’clock yesterday morning and was berthed at 1.30 p.m. Of her 1750 tons of fertiliser, 500 tons arc to be landed at New Plymouth, -the balance being for distribution at various New Zealand ports. The vessel left Walpole Island on Monday, January 8. and arrived off Cape Maria Van Diemen on Saturday, January 13. Here she received the full benefit of a south-west swell and rolled considerably until Monday. 15th, when orders were received to proceed to New Plymouth. The Pukaki. which is a vessel of 1444 tons gross. Is commanded by Captain S. Aitken, who has associated with him the following officers: Chief. Mr. 11. T. Speed; second, Mr. S. S. Heffcrman : chief engineer, Mr. S. Trevallicn: second. Mr. N. E. Pitt; third, Mr. K. Waller: chief steward, Mr. G. Sunell. The vessel la no stranger to the port, having been engaged a few years back in the Union Company’s service to New Plymouth.
KAURI EARLY TO-DAY. A wireless message received from the Kauri yesterday announced that the vessel would arrive at New Plymouth at 6 o’clock this morning. She has a full load of coal for the Railway Department, and will b'e in port for about a week. CORINNA TO-MORROW. Due to leave Wellington for Nelson last night, the Corinna is expected at New Plymouth to-morrow with general southern cargo. ADVICE OF OTARAMA. At latest advice the liner Otarama Li due at New Plymouth on January 31 to load butter for the United Kingdom. The vessel is at present at Wellington, and proceeds to Lyttelton and Dunedin before calling here. f SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Onehunga, January 17.—Rarawa (9.35 a.m.), from New Plymouth.
