Masters, M.P., has received word ’ from the Public Trust Office that the l° ai k| negotiations opened by him on behalf of 1 the Stratford Hospital Board for the Joan of £5500 had been completed, and the amount granted. The chairman of the board, Mr. C. D. Sole, says it is quite satisfactory and instructions have been given to the architect to complete the plans for the next Board meeting, and tenders wiil be called by Christmas. The W’ork includes additions to the Nurses’ Home. The residents of Stratford and district. are notified that Ernest Davies, the London qualified sight-testing optician, visits Stratford every Tuesday, and may be consulted at Mr. Gaffaney’s, Broadway.
