INFANCITIDE ALLEGED.

YOUNG COUPLE ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. July 25. A young married, couple. Stuart Cecil Harland and Dolly Heather Harland, were charged with having murdered their infant female child. The case arises from the finding of the body of a child in a bush in Park Street recently. The detective’s inquiries took him to the Bluff, where on Sunday he interviewed Harland, who is a butcher. The Harlands came to Dunedin yesterday, were arrested and were remanded this morning till Friday without bail. The chief detective stated that prior to July 17 the couple came to Dunedin and stopped in a private house. It w’ould be proved that the female was then pregnant.
