CORRESPONDENCE.
THE ANZACS’ DAY. To the Editor. Sir, — Day is again approaching, and, having been asked on former occasions where the Anzac soldiers are in the procession, I decided to ask if special recognition of their presence could not he made on Anzac Day, by cars set aside for them alone, who stood, side by side, and faced death for us to live. These heroes are fully deserving of honoring in every special way. Parents whose Anzac heroes fell can look with sorrow and pride and know their boys were of the true Anzacs. It is their day. They fought for it, and all we possess we justly owe to the Anzac soldiers. Let us, therefore, give of our best to them, and honor them on Anzac Day with special pride, to provide our best cars for them, to look up to them, and to give them the foremost place in the procession, so that one and all, young and old, may know who they are.—l am, etc., AN ANZACS’ FRIEND. 4
