At. Eltham on Wednesday fat and forward cows made from £2 6s to £3 2s, works cows 13s to 355, bulls £1 5s to £2 7s, woolly hoggets 8s 7d. At Hawera on Thursday’ we had a fair yarding. Prices at late rates. Best fat cows to £5, forward cows to £2 ss, works cows £1 2s to 38s, maiden heifers £2 7s, 2’/ 2 -year steers £2 Is, springing heifers to £5 12s 6d, cows (good) to £lO, fat wethers 10s 6d, ewes 8s 6d, sows to £2 10s. INGLEWOOD SALE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a full supply of pigs for Newton King, Ltd.’s mart sale on Saturday to lifer to a good gathering of fiymers, and the tone of the market was firmer than last week. Weaners made from 12s to 15s, slips 17s to 18s 6d, and small stores 24s to 30s. The poultry pens were fairly full. Cocks and hens made from 2s .9d to 3s 9d, chicks 3d and sd, drake 2s 6d, gtese 9s, turkey Ils, new potatoes 2%d to 3d per lb. Garden vegetables and sundries all sold/well.
