The Daily Chronicle’s Berlin correspondent says the Forestal Land, Timber and Railway Company, a British concern, has purchased Renner’s Hamburg Tanning and Dye Works, paying 5750 marks for each 1000 mark share, and making a total payment of 14,000,000 marks. The Germans drew the bulk of their raw materials from Argentine, where the Forestal Company overwhelmed Rennert. The Forestall operations are world-wide, and the company has a capital of more than £5,000,000,
