McLean, a member of the New Zealand team, and a big, dashing forward from the Bay of Plenty, met with an accident to his knee while training this morning, and it is at present doubtful whether he will be able to play ou Saturday in the test match, in which case his place will be taken by Fogarty, of Taranaki.
