OPTIMISTIC REPORTS DESIRE FOR SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph Press Assn. —Copyright. London, June 12. Week-end reports from tne coalfield*» are optimistic and suggest art anxious desire for a settlement. It is generally believed the voting on Wednesday will be strongly in favor of the acceptance of the Government's terms. The position is most unfavorable in South Wales and Scotland, but even there the majority for peace, it is hops ,ed, will swell.
