NEW ZEALAND'S SHARE. REPORT OF SERIOUS FRICTION. STATEMENT BY MR. MASSEY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—-Copyright. Received June 10, 0.5 p.m. London, June 9. A Daily Telegraph correspondent, states, that serious friction has arisen between Mr. W. F. Massey and the Homo Government authorities over New Zealand’s claims for wool, profits. Mr. Massey, interviewed by the Daily Telegraph, gave the whole facts, adding: “The New Zealand producers are only asking what is reasonable. They claim that the Imperial Government’s proposals are not carrying out the spirit of the agreement, and I must say I agree with them; but .1 know nothing of serious friction. Throughout the war period the business relations of the two Governments have been of the most pleasant character, and I am confident the difficulty will be settled satisfac-torily.”—Aus.-N.Z.
