The Rarawa, which arrived in port on the usual run from Onehunga yesterday, brought passengers and 120 tons of cargo, including 57 tons of cement. She sailed on the return trip last night. WAITOMO TO-DAY. A wireless message states that the Waitomo is expected to arrive this morning. She brings about 6000 tons of coal from Newcastle for the Railway Department. TREGARTHEN SAILING. It is expected that the discharging of the Tregarthen’s cargo will be completed this afternoon, when the vessel will sail for Brisbane. NGATORO FROM GREYMOUTH. Messrs. Collett and Co. advise that the Ngatoro left Greymouth last night, and should arrive here to-morrow morning. She carries 650 tons of coal to discharge here. OPUA EXPECTED. The Opua, which is bringing 400 tonp of cement, is expected from Tarakohe to-day. THE CORINNA. The Union Steam Ship Company’s Corinna left Dunedin last night and is expected here after calling at the usual ports. THE ATUA REFLOATED. A telegram from Auckland says news was received on Monday that the Atua, which struck a reef near Navua on May 24, was beached at Naitonltoni, and was refloated on Saturday and immediately proceeded to Suva, where she is now discharging raw sugar.. RUAHINE LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine left Southampton for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, via Newport News and Panama, on Wednesday iast. She is due at Auckland about July 17, and should be at Wellington a. week later. ' PALOONA DUE FRIDAY. The Union Company's steamer Paloona is due at ‘Wellington on Friday from Melbourne, via southern ports, and is timed to sail for Melbourne direct at 5 p.m. the same day. RUAPEHU AT SOUTHAMPTON, The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu, which sailed from Wellington on April 19, arrived at Southampton on Saturday last. TAINUI LEAVES COLON. The S.S. and A. liner Talnui', which sailed from Wellington on May 12 for London, left Colon on Friday in continuation of her voyage. THE KAIKOURA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Kaikoura, which is putting out cargo from London at Auckland, and is also loading for London at the northern port, will leave there to-day for Wellington, where she Is due on Friday’ io complete discharge. OTARAMA AT NEWPORT. Cable advice has been received that the steamer Otarama arrived at Newport News on th.e 2nd inst. from Wellington via Panama, en route to New York, Boston, and the United Kingdom. KIA ORA LEFT PANAMA. The New Zealand Shipping Company have’ been notified by cable that the Kia Ora arrived at Colon/on May 31 from Montreal, and left Panama on the same date for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. SOMERSET IN BALLAST. A cable message has been received by the New Zealand Skipping Company stating that the steamer Somerset left. Newport News on May 31 in ballast for Wellington, via. Panama.
