DEATH CAUSED BY COLLISION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Gisborne, Sept. 27Bertie Athol Rh'odes, aged 27, was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a motor-car on Thursday last, and died in hospital on Sunday. KILLED IN TRAP ACCIDENT. Wellington, Sept. 27. By a trap accident on Mungaroa Hill, Hutt Valley, Mary Agnes Whiteman, daughter of Edward Whiteman, of Mungaroa, was killed. The horse shied and capsized the vehicle over' an embankment. Miss Whiteman's neck was broken. Her sister escaped. WORKER LOSES AN ARM. Auckland, Sept. 27. Peter Brady, while working on a new stand for the Trotting Club at Alexandria Park, had one arm torn out of the socket through getting caught i n the machinery of a concrete mixer. The arm was amputated in hospital.
