THEFT OF NOTES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 27. Three hundred pounds in notes was stolen from a boarding house in Willis Street last week while the owner was in a bathroom. It was found that some of them had been circulated in Petone, and this clue was followed to Auckland, where Robert Burgess was arrested and charged. The sum of £lßo' in notes was found on him.
