TROOPS IN PERSIA.
WITHDRAWAL OF THE BRITISH! By Telegram.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 26, 5.5 p.m. Delhi, Sept. 25. The British force in Meshed, Persia, is feeing withdrawn. Its role was to prevent the violation of the Persian frontier by the Bolsheviks, but since the fall of Krasnovodsk in February the force has been idle. With the exception of the Consular escort, all troops have been withdrawn.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
