MOTOR CARS CHEAPER. FALL IN MERCHANDISE, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrifcht, Beoeived Sept. 24, 10.20 p.m. New York, Sept. 23. Another large price-cutting movement in the United States has apparently been launched. It is reported from Detroit that the Ford Company Fas reduced the price of motor cars from fourteen to thirtyone per cent. Other automobile manufacturers of a prominent brand announced a reduction of seventeen to twenty-one per cent. It is reported from Chicago that the Sears Roebuck Company and the Montgomery Ward Company, two of the largest mercantile houses in the world, have announced price reductions of from ten to twenty per cent.
