A feature of the evening was m-M duubtedly the supper, which was in. the 3 hands of a capable ladies! committee l comprising Mesdames W. Hughes, A.- 1 George, Bennook, McKay, BreauU,' "1 Stroud, Drury, Nolan and Hurley.. TJria & was dispensed in the spacious supper l \j room that had been beautifully deoorat- ,"* o:i with flowers and the CluVs colom< :^ The vice-president of the dub (Mr, v i Jas. Clarke), in the absence of tho ''. patron (Mr. Dockrill) and the presldsnt , (Mr. E. Whittle), presented tie tiro.nhies that had been won as follows: Seniors, best player (donated by Mr, k lloskin), R. Spence; Juniors, most inn--.'-proved player (G. Bentrand), A. W. Pat- * erson; third grade, most improved pfeyer !> (A. L. Humphries), W. Dean; fourth <j, grade, moat improved player (W. i" Crockett), W. Kinlock. He also sented the Carbine Shield, which fh»J}' juniors had won, to Mr. W. Deane (vice- V ! captain).
