BETTING ON FOOTBALL.
BECOMING VERY PREVALENT. By Telesraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Auckland Rugby League decided to-night to take effective measures to prevent betting oh football grounds, or interference with players or referees. It was .'also decided to exclude betting men from the-League's ground. During the discussion, it was stated that betting was very prevalent, and was having a detrimental effect on the game.
