THE SUGAR STRIKE.
JIEN REMAIN FIRM. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The sugar workers have decided to review the position in the sugar refining industry at Birkenhead on Sunday afternoon. Members of the local transport workers' advisory board will be present. The secretary stated this morning that the men were still solid in their decision not to return to work until a settlement based on the live-point issue was reached.
