FURTHER ESULTS. Hawera.—Council: Messrs. Bone, Cameron, Cumming, Gormley, Hayton, ! Lewis, Morrissey, Osborne and Reid.' Not elected: Messrs. Gomer and Goodwin, Geraldine.—The sitting Mayor (Mr. B. R. MacDonakl) was re-elected. i Patea.—Mayor: Christensen 227, Hicks 130; councillors: Harrison, Bay'iis, Cronin, Holtham, lloneyljeld, Tuimsbottom, Grainger, Bennett and G. Williams. The otlier candidates were Messrs. Hor'e, Fowler, Hamerton, A. N. Williams and "Cooper. Wanganui.—Council: Messrs. T. B. Williams, J. Aitken, J. C. Richardson, C. E. 11. Burnett, C. J. Sharpe, R. W. Green, A. A. Cower, E. F. Lifliton, G. Spriggins, A. Thompson, J. Donaldson, W. M. Luxford. Harbor Board: A. G. Bignell, T. B. Williams, W. G. Bassett, 0. E. Mackay, S. Holm, N. Meuli. The four last named are sitting members. Dannevirke.—The mayoral election resulted: George Tunis Andevs°on, 818; Campbell Thomson, 350. Council: W. Snell, S. Asheroft, D. Drnmmond, W. Dobson, C. Macgibbon, F. G. Bott, M. Hewitt, J. Livingstone and R. Fraser. Representative on Waipawa Hospital Board: W. Snell. Foxton.—Mayor: Mr. J. Christall (re-elected) unopposed; Council: Messrs. Parkin, Thompson, C. A. Pearson, Geo. Coley, C. Rand, J. Hanah, Bryant, M: H. Walker, M'Murray. There were 16 nominations, and four out of the five Labor candidates nominated were elected.
Whangarei.—Mayor: Mr. J. S. Dent was re-elected, defeating Mr. D. A. , M'Lean by a majority of 100. Te Kuiti.—Mayor:' Mr. G. P. Finlay, by a large majority. The Saturday half holiday was carried. Hamilton.—The Saturday half holiday was approved by a large majority. The holiday was formerly Wednesday. Wellington.—Council: Messrs. C. B. Norwood, L. M'Kenzie, M. Luckie, J. Hutchison (secretary tramway's union), J. O. Shorland, W. H. Bennett, A. R. Atkinson, G. Frost, P. Fraser, M.P. Wellington Central: Messrs. J. M. Dale, C. H. Chapman, T. Forsyth, W. J, Thompson, -T. Glover. Nine old members have been re-elected, and the new members include four Laborites: Messrs Fraser, M.P., Chapman, Glover, and Hutchison.
The Lyttelton Harbor Board election resiilted in the return of Thacker, Holland, Sorensen, and Kayo for Christchurch: Flood for Lyttelton; and the ■Hon. Moore for Kaiapoi and Rangiora. One return is still to come for Ashburton. Galbraith is returned, but the second seat is doubtful.
At Whokatane, Mr. iF. Araoor was elected Mayor. Unimproved values rating was carried by 164 to 92. An electrical system of water supply and surface drainage loans totalling £BI,OOO were defeated, owing to a feeling that, a more comprehensive scheme embracing the whole district was preferable. NELSON. Nelson, Last Night. A recount of the mayoral election votes increases W. W. Snodgrass' majority to 94. AUCKLAND. Auckland City electors returned IS old members, three Labor members, and two ladies. Mayors were elected as follow: Devonport, Mr, IT. W. King; Onehimga, Mr. J. Park; Takapuna, Mr. W. Blomfleld; Birkenhead, Mr. ,1. McPhail; Pukekobe, Mr. 11. G. Mason. A MISTAKE AT NAPIER. Napier, Last Night. A mistake was discovered about midnight in the mayoral polling, which left Mr. J. V. Brown, M.P., with a majority of 3. There are persistent rumors of other mistake.*, and the result of the recount is awaited with much interest.
