WOOL SCOURING WORKS 'GUTTED. By Telegraph.—Preas Association. Dvmedin, May 1. A fire was discovered this morning at Clarke's wool scouring works at Woodhaugh, a three-storey wooden building valued at about £SOO, and containing plant valued at £BOO, also 100 bales of wool, pressed and ready, belonging to the Imperial Government. The building and plant were gutted and wool valued at £3OOO was partially burnt, roughly £ISOO worth being saved. There were no insurances on the plant or building
