The State Government has issued a proclamation declaring all ships entering a port of New South Wales are subject tQ quarantine. The Government prohibits the entry of South Australian residents, as South Australia is an infected area. Melbourne, Feb. 6. The Commonwealth has stopped the cast and west railway. The Commonwealth haa renounced the November health agreement and gazetted new rules for inter-State traffic, providing that no persons shall travel by sea without a special permit issued the day before the journey after medical inspection and all passengers are required to report under surveillance for three days after disembarkation. There are 343 new influenza cases reported and nine deaths. Adelaide, Feb. 6. Two influenza cases are reported from twenty miles outside the city.—AusNZ. Cable Assoc.
