At Opuriake yiards on Monday we held our usual sale. There was a good yarding of cattle, which sold at ruling rates. Fat cows sold at from £l2 10s to £l3, frosh-conditioned cows £lO 10s to £ll Wf>, forward cows £9 to £lO, store cows £8 to £8 18s, empty heifers £0 10s to £7 15s, yearling steers £7 fls to £7 15s, yearling heifers £4 to . £5.105, bulls £7 to £l4, springing heifers £l3. At Manaifi yards on Tuesday we had a full yarding of store cattle, which met with keen competition, and almost everything was sold at the hammer.
