THE SLAVE RAIDS. Madrid, August 25. The King presided at a meeting at which the Government agreed seriously to consider the French Note regarding the Lille outrages', to eonsujt other neutrals, and to ascertain Germany's views. The newspapers support the French representations. London, August 25. A correspondent at Madrid says that Spain is consulting neutrals regarding Germany's conduct in the north of France. It is believed it is intended to ask the Vatican to reqiiesj; Germany to permit a neutral committee to inquire into the complaints.
