A SPORTS DAY. ! Preparatory School Race (under 11). —Rauma List 1, C. Greatbatch 2. N. Palmer 3. Three-legged Race.—T. Bunvell and N. Collier 1, F. Evans and P. Healy 2. Sack Race.—M. Mills 1, I. Panlger 2. Thread the Needle Race.—T. Monteath and Q. Gibson 1, M. Spence and C. Musker 2. Wet Day Race.—J. Cassie 1, T. Burwell 2. Egg and Spoon Race.—G, Barnett 1, J. Cooke 2. Bicycle Tortoise.—A. Nine teams entered for the six-a-side hockey tournament, each teaming wearing a distinguishing color: Red, orange, yellow, green, royal blue, pale blue, pink, purple, and brown. The tournament ended on Thursday morning, the winners being the Pale Blues: (W. Chapman (captain), I. Earp, Enid White, D. Nixon, J. Cassie, D. Gardner).
